VTech to Worn-Out-Momma Rescue!

VTech VM343 makes capturing every moment possible.

February Schmebruary. I’m so over it. So, we’ve packed up and hit the road… time to break out my inner beach bum. It may be a bit brisk out there, but with the sand beneath my toes and a heated pool, who cares?

The kids are thrilled for a mid-winter break from reality, and it’s nice to escape my house for a bit. I’m loving how clean and tidy it is, but Kon-Mari’ing for the last few weeks has been exhausting. Plus, the local garbage crew could probably use a few days off. 🙂

Sure, he looks innocent enough.

The drive down with the three kids was trying. James’ screech is always loud, but when directed at you while driving for several hours? Rough.

We’re here now, though, and I’m sure my ear drums will recover. Eventually. I’ll consider this our warm-up for when we hit the road for our several summer vacations. Plan lots of stops. Bring more toddler toys. Supply all passengers with ear plugs.

The upside of our stressful drive yesterday, is the child sufficiently wore himself out. Which means… nap time for him and party/pool time for the rest of us! Woot, woot!

I packed my VTech VM343 video monitor in hopes that I would be able to enjoy some time for myself while being able to still observe my sweet bundle of (screaming) joy. And, today, I’ve been able to accomplish said goal.

Little man’s been getting some serious snoozing, and I’ve been doing some well-earned R&R. Having the VTech VM343 with me makes me wish I had it for all of the boys! What peace of mind. I don’t have to worry about him crawling out of the pack ‘n play without knowing, I can hear all of his baby babbles, and even monitor the temperature in his room. All from the comfort of the hot tub.

My little snug-a-bug.

With VTech’s Safe&Sound® VM343 Expandable Digital Video Baby Monitor with Pan & Tilt Camera and Automatic Night Vision, I never have to miss a smile (or scream) thanks to the camera’s full-color, high-resolution video equipped with night vision on a large 4.3-inch LCD screen.

The VM343 comes standard with up to 1,000 feet of range, which means that later on, I can even enjoy a late night glass of wine with the hubs with a view of the ocean and a view of a (hopefully) sleeping babe! Win-win.

Even better?  Thanks to the VM343 monitor’s remote pan and tilt camera featuring 2x zoom, I can also monitor the two bigger brothers sharing his room…  I’ve set the camera so that I can rotate it from the pack ‘n play to the twin beds which the boys are sharing in the same room while on vacay!   The VM343 pans up to 270 degrees side-to-side and tilts as many as 120 degrees up and down.

Yup, I’m a happy momma.  In need of some downtime.  And I think I found the perfect way to manage this trip!  Now… time to hit the hot tub!
