Get ready for rave reviews from your kids this school year! With this fun and delish Disney Frozen themed lunch box, they’ll be the coolest kids in school.
My kids love movie night; it’s a weekly Friday night tradition. Sometimes we let the kids pick the flick, sometimes the adults get to choose. You can bet when the kids choose, Disney’s Frozen is always on top of the list. Every time.
“Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” and “Let It Go,” may as well become my family’s theme songs.
When I “get” to watch a movie as often as I’ve been able to enjoy Disney’s Frozen, it’s only natural that I include it in a themed treat for my children. And since we’re in full swing with the back-to-school season, it’s only appropriate that the kids get a Disney Frozen Themed Lunch Box!

The star of my lunch box? Disney Frozen String Cheese. My kids always ask for cheese sticks in their lunch. It’s a mom-approved option – because they are made with milk, they are perfect for the protein and calcium. Plus, they are an easy grab-and-go lunch box addition.
They’re great for snacks too. My kids love how easily the Disney Frozen String Cheese peels, and they love to negotiate who gets what character. (Elsa and Olaf are always the top contenders.)
As with all of the lunch boxes I make for the kids, I try to make sure they get protein, dairy, fruit and/or veggies and a treat. With the dairy option covered, I’ve rounded this Disney Frozen Themed Lunch Box out with a few other great goodies. And, they’re easy to whip up!
First, I cut up some lunch meat and skewered them on toothpicks. I used foam snowflake and tiara stickers to top off the picks. My kids love anything on a stick!
All of my kids enjoy blueberries (which are conveniently the perfect color), and for this lunch box I simply froze the berries overnight in a baking pan. Not only are they now officially frozen blueberries, but they help keep the lunchbox cool too. Your welcome… ♪ ♪ ♫
Finally… the treat. One of my favorite snacks is chocolate coated pretzels, and kids love them too. To make these Disney Frozen Themed Pretzel Treats, I melted light blue candy melts according to package directions.
After dipping half of each pretzel into the candy, I placed them on wax paper and sprinkled on some pearl white sugar candies. Once the candy has hardened, they’ll last for up to a week in a sealed container. But, they never last that long in this house!
