Simple does it with our Italian Style Preserved Tuna Recipe with Herbs & Beans recipe! Prepare in under 10 minutes with fresh and light ingredients. Inspired by days spent port-side on travels to the coast of Italy. This recipe is sponsored by Bella Portofino Tuna.
One thing you’ll notice if you get the chance to visit any European ports. Preserved fish is on every menu. In Italy, it was tuna. Big chunks of tuna dripping in fragrant olive oil. With just a touch of sea salt. Even those that think they don’t like tuna might be converted with this dish. That’s the inspiration behind today’s Italian Style Preserved Tuna Recipe with Herbs & Beans.

Prepare the ingredients. Mince garlic, roughly chop parsley, zest the lemon, and chop the marinated peppers.
To a medium sized bowl, add the tuna, breaking it up just slightly with a fork. Gently stir in the garlic, parsley, zest, peppers, and beans. Season with salt and pepper and add another generous drizzle of olive oil.
Serve on top of arugala with crusty fresh bread.
