Last Minute Cinco de Mayo Taco Bar Party

This is Cinco De Mayo Taco Bar Party post has been shared on behalf of Harris Teeter.  All opinions are my own.

Our Cinco de Mayo Taco Bar Party looks like we spent some serious time preparing.  But did we?  Get the scoop on this super fun DIY Taco Bar for your next summer party.

Those that know me understand that I have good intentions, but man.  When it comes to planning, I sometimes drop the ball.  As someone who develops recipes for a living, you’d think that when it comes to something like having friends over for tacos on Cinco de Mayo, I’d be ready to go.

But… alas.  That is not the case.  I’m already working on 4th of July content.   Which means, I end up running around like a chicken like it’s head cut off (which is the worst phrase ever, if you ask me), when it comes to hosting an event on the actual holiday.

Last minute?  Ain’t no thang!

Fret not.  Because I’ve found the Taco Bar Hack that seems obvious, but well, it just wasn’t.  At least not to me.  The trick to rocking your Cinco de Mayo party isn’t in the prep work or the cooking.  It’s in the sauces.  Lots and lots of salsas and toppings to brighten up the most simple of taco toppings.

It’s just brilliant.

To get the full picture of what I’m talking about, head over to the Harris Teeter blog, where I shared my top picks from the International aisle.  The HT Trader’s line has some killer new Taqueria style sauces that I’m LOVING.

So whip up some margaritas (I like these), and let’s get this party started!
