Green Jeans Consignment Sale – Tagging Giveaway

It’s no surprise I’m on a “Getting Rid of Stuff” mission.  When I decided to get #Organizedin2013, I decided to go all-in.  If I don’t love it, use it, and need it, it gets gone.  That’s just how it is.

Although I don’t plan to tackle my bedroom closet until later on in the year, when Cindy and Dana, the ladies who started the Green Jeans Sale contacted me about a tagging service for their upcoming sale I knew I had to take them up on it.  I went to my closet and pulled clothes that just didn’t fit me right.  Clothes that I don’t wear often.  Clothes that I thought would be more valuable to me at a consignment sale than wearing them once a year.  Then I went to the back of Graham’s closet: where I store all of my business suits.  Adios blazers, pencil skirts and silk blouses.  I still work, but I do more of it from my PJ’s than a three piece suit, so they needed to go.

I also pulled shoes, purses, scarves and jewelry.  If they give me a blister – gone.  If I’ve never used the handbag- gone.  If it was costume jewelry that I find hard to coordinate… you get the idea.   I also discovered that I owned 13 scarves.  Really? 13? I wear a scarf, like, maybe every other week.  Ain’t know way this girl needs 13 scarves.  I said good-bye to half of them.

Last year, I priced and tagged each item myself.  It was easy enough, but this year I just don’t have the time.  I bet a lot of you are in the same boat.  Which is why the Green Jeans Sale now offers a Too Busy To Tag Service.  Kind of a no-brainer if you ask me.  You pay the standard $10 consignor fee and for an additional $25, you hand your items over to be priced, tagged and delivered to your sale of choice.  You then earn 50% of the sale price.

Check out to see how easy it is:

As you can see, it’s simple.  And, they don’t take everything.  (No, you can’t sneak that five year old Banana Republic blazer past them.  They KNOW!)  You can get more details here, but… if you’d prefer to WIN this service, simply enter the giveaway below!
