Kahlua S’mores Mousse Cups: #52WeeksofSweets, Week 15

Hello, Week 15 of #52WeeksofSweets.  This recipe for Kahlua S’mores Mousse Cups just might be my favorite so far.  Crumbled Grahams, coffee-chocolate mousse, and a torched marshmallow….  Skip dinner tonight and head right to dessert!  We won’t tell.

Hello, Week 15 of #52WeeksofSweets! This recipe for Kahlua S'mores Mousse Cups just might be my favorite so far. Crumbled Grahams, coffee-chocolate mousse, and a torched marshmallow.... Skip dinner tonight and head right to dessert! We won't tell.

Can we just start with the obvious reason why should should make this Kahlua S’mores Mousse Cups?  Um… ok, there are several obvious reasons.

First – Kahlúa.  I love it as an after-dinner drink.  I love it even more in this recipe.  Combined with coffee, chocolate, and tangy cream cheese and Greek yogurt, it’s perfection.

Second – You get to use a blow torch. A blow torch!! I bought mine specifically for this recipe, but now I can’t wait to torch some more foods in my kitchen.  I should probably also purchase a fire extinguisher. ? ? ?

Third – S’mores.  It’s a classic flavor combo for a reason.  It’s uh-mazing.  And with the few extra “adult” additions, it’s just damn good.

Place grahams in a ziploc bag and beat with a rolling pan.  We get to take a lot of aggression out with this recipe – hitting and fire, and all. 🙂
