Make the most of every moment this summer with this refreshing Hibiscus Strawberry Sparkler. It’s the perfect afternoon sipper to share on the patio with your girlfriends!
School’s out for summer! That rings big in our house. But it’s just not the kids that get excited; I’m thrilled. I love being able to sleep in a little later, catching fireflies, then swapping bath time for a run in the sprinkler. Well, maybe not every night… 😉
Bucket lists and activities have been planned for boys, but what about mom? Well, I’ve learned to sneak in my me-time moments when I can get them. Sometimes that locking the bathroom door, sometimes it means a girl’s weekend. But often, it’s somewhere in between.
Like, enjoying the few moments I have to myself. When they’re eating popsicles and playing with friends.
That’s when I sit down in the shade, either with a magazine or a mom-friend or two, and enjoy my favorite afternoon sipper – this Hibiscus Strawberry Sparkler. Light and refreshing, not-too-sweet, and with the perfect amount of fizz, this will become your favorite me-time drink, too.
Hibiscus Strawberry Sparkler
The star of our Hibiscus Strawberry Sparkler is Tazo® Passion Tea Concentrate. I was delighted to discover that I could purchase Tazo® products at my local Walmart. They had a huge selection of Tazo® teas and Starbucks® products; I’m gonna need to try some more out (for y’all of course) soon.
But, first we’re going to start with adding our chopped strawberries to a pitcher along with the sugar. Stir to coat the berries, then let macerate for 15 minute or so, until the fruit has released some of it’s juices.
Pour in one container of Tazo® Passion Tea Concentrate and stir.
Fill four glasses with ice. Divide the Strawberry-Tea mixture amongst the glasses and top with chilled sparkling water. Garnish with a mint spring and toast to a fabulous summer!
