This post and recipe for Sheet Pan Steak Frites is brought to you by Farmers to Families and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
Sheet Pan Steak Frites is the perfect comfort food dinner. It’s the perfect date night dinner. It’s the perfect dinner to entertain with. It’s just… perfect.
I’ve wanted to order a share of a cow for quite some time; I just didn’t know how to go about doing it. I only wanted certain parts. I wanted beef sourced from happy cows. And, I wanted it to be in manageable portions. Much to my dismay, I don’t have a second freezer.
Finally, my dream (to get a share of cow, not a second freezer) has come true. With Farmers to Families, I can now get beef and pork direct from American farmers and purchase single-animal shares… in amounts as small or large as I like! Skip the grocery store and lugging frozen meat through a farmers market. We’re shopping online for pasture-raised beef and pork from now on.
With Farmer to Families, the tradition of sourcing meat directly from the farm still exists, bringing it directly to your door…connecting your table with the pasture. With single-sourced meat from their community of family farms, no matter what quantity is ordered, you will receive ONE animal straight from the farm!
Farmers to Families offer selections of beef, pork and sausage at a variety of weight increments that fit your lifestyle and budget. Can you believe all of this meat is just one-sixteenth of cow?!?
When you have quality meat like this, you don’t need a complicated recipe, and this Sheet Pan Steak Frites recipe is easy. Whip up the garlic aioli for the perfect dip to go with it! It’s better than anything you get out of a jar!
Sheet Pan Steak Frites with Garlic Aioli
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper and seasoning. Scatter them on a baking pan in a single layer. Right before placing the pan in the oven, reduce the heat to 425 degrees. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Meanwhile season the steaks on each side with salt, pepper and seasoning. Also prep the garlic aioli. Add the vegetable oil, egg white, lemon juice, garlic, and salt to the bowl of a blender. Blend until smooth and thick. Spoon out into a serving bowl
After cooking 20 minutes, remove the potatoes from the oven. Now, it’s time to turn on the broiler in your oven. Push the potatoes off to one side of the tray. Lay the steaks down, and return the sheet pan to the oven, in the top third of the oven. Cook for 3-5 minutes, then flip the steaks.
Once the desired temperature for your meat has been reached (maybe another 3-5 minutes), remove the sheet pan from the oven. If the potatoes start to brown too much for your liking, place a sheet of aluminum foil over the side of the pan that has the potatoes.
Place the fries in a serving bowl, and allow the meat to rest at least ten minutes prior to slicing. If you like, place a pat of butter on top of each steak while it rests. Slice just before serving and enjoy with the Garlic Aioli.
