Truth be told, I’m a popcorn fiend.  I’ll skip a meal for popcorn.  I’ll not eat for a whole day if it means I can get a bucket o’ popcorn at the movie theater.  It’s a thing. And in my family, it’s not just me.

My family doesn’t need an excuse to nosh on some popcorn.  But, if there is an event, especially something like the big game, you better believe we’re dishing up a bowl of Orville Redenbacher’s® Movie Theater Butter popcorn.  Easy to serve, with no artificial preservatives, flavors, or dyes, Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn is the only leading brand who uses real butter.  And, in my book, real butter is kind of a big deal.

We generally host our own football party for the big game.  With four kids and the game falling on a Sunday, it makes the most sense.  When I host, I make popcorn.  A batch of original Orville Redenbacher’s® Movie Theater Butter popcorn for the kids.  For the adults?  It’s my own Victory Popcorn recipe, a blend of butter popcorn, spiced nuts and garlic seasoned pretzels.  No matter which team wins, your tastebuds will be celebrating.

Prepare the pretzels:  Preheat the oven to 275°F.  Melt butter in a microwavable safe bowl.  Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and onion powder.  Mix with pretzels and pour into a baking sheet.  Bake for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Prepare the nuts:  Stir together olive oil sugar, salt, chopped rosemary and a pinch of cayenne.  Mix in nuts and stir until coated.  Once the pretzels have cooked for 30 minutes, push the pretzels to one side and add the seasoned nuts.  Return to the oven and cook another 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Meanwhile, pop two bags of Orville Redenbacher’s Movie Theater Butter popcorn.  In a large bowl, toss the pretzels, nuts and popcorn together.  Serve immediately along with these fun football cones.
