Sleep is never more coveted than during pregnancy. It is the fuel the keeps me going; my only shot at not over-doing the caffeine the next day. It provides me my one chance at keeping sane while hanging out with a toddler all day. Hence the Unisom, the Zofran, the Zyrtec, and now, the pregnancy pillow. I’m one drugged up, relaxed momma when it comes to bed. Oh, and don’t send me any nasty emails about medication and pregnancy. I’ve been cleared by my doctor. So there.
I got my pregnancy pillow when I was pregnant with Graham. I toted it with me on every trip we took, I curled up with it on the couch while watching TV, I forced my husband and dog to the other side of the bed while my pillow and I hogged the other half. About two months after giving birth to Graham, my husband told me it was time for the pillow to go. I nearly cried.
So now, although I can’t say a lot of great things about pregnancy, I can say this – the pregnancy pillow ROCKS. Pregnant? Go out and get one. You will thank me. Your husband may not. I’m OK with that.
