I’m not a super-great baker. Precision really isn’t my thing, which is why I shy away from detailed crafting and baking that requires exact measuring. So, when asked to put together some goodies for my son’s preschool, I made granola balls. I figured they’d stand out from the crowd of chocolate chip cookies and rice krispy treats sure to adorn any respectable bake sale table.
Here’s a simple recipe that you can adjust to your taste and easily double, triple, or get really crazy with if you’re making it for a bake sale or large event. They are shelf-stable and easy to package.
If you are here because you actually bought my granola balls that I self-promotionally labeled with my URL (so that you could get the recipe, of course!), many thanks, and here ya go!
Oatmeal Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients: If you prefer to eye-ball it, that’s totally fine. It’s a go with the flow recipe!
3/4 cups powdered milk
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup raisins
Mix ingredients, combining thoroughly.
Scoop and roll into balls.
Enjoy!
I didn’t purchase any today but have had in the past and they are wonderful! I suggested them to several standing near me:)
Thanks! That was sweet of you! 😉
