Soccer is kind of a big deal in my family. And, not just playing it, but watching it. I’m game. Sometimes. But, let’s be honest. I’m a fair-weather fan. I’ll always watch my kids play. But to go to a match or watch it on TV? It’s gotta be convenient… or involve great food and drinks.

Needless to say, bribery has been involved to coax me into watching a favorite soccer team. Fortunately for my husband, a lot of the matches are on in the morning hours, which to me means brunch. And brunch is something I can almost always get behind.

Have y’all tried making Micheladas yet? It’s the beer cocktail version of the Bloody Mary. And, they are super fun to make. My version has everything that I love about a classic seafood boil in cocktail form, for a low-country michelada that is basically brunch in a cup!

Clamato, the authentic tomato cocktail that spices up all your parties and get-togethers, also makes the perfect Michelada. Add in your favorite beer and awesome low-country seafood boil ingredients, and we have a winner beverage to enjoy while watching soccer.
