Question: Red or white?

My answer: Rosé.

It’s true.  I adore a glass of rosé.  Especially in summer. For those of you who think all pink wine is created equal… not so, my friends.  Rosés have an extremely broad range of wine styles from sweet to dry, and if you haven’t found your perfect match, you haven’t looked hard enough.

Not sure where to start?  Take this quiz.  With Rosé Your Way™, your personal rosé concierge is only a Facebook message away!  Just send a message, and you’ll find the perfect rosé for your taste buds. Doesn’t everybody need a rosé concierge?

Turns out, my palette is on the right path. After selecting that I plan to pair my rosé with strawberries for an afternoon of laid back relaxing, Edna Valley Rosé was selected.  I already love Edna Valley Chardonnays, so obviously the quiz knows what it’s talking about.

Now that you’ve picked your wine, allow me to introduce the perfect pairing.  My Prosciutto and Strawberry Grilled Flatbread is the perfect snack or light supper.  And, it pairs perfectly with a bottle of Edna Valley Rosé, which boasts red fruit aromas of strawberry and raspberry with a hint of spice.

Preheat a grill to high.  Divide the pizza dough into halves and roll into thin 10″ discs.  Coat the grill with cooking spray and carefully lay out the dough.  Remove from the grill.

Grill-mark side up, layer on the sliced mozzarella and season with salt and pepper.  Return to the grill and cook until the dough is nicely crisped on the bottom and the cheese has melted.
