Our MacDaddy Veggie Burger Bar is the best way to entertain this summer season. With easy condiments and our fab balsamic grilled onions, these veggie burgers will be the hit of the barbecue!
At the Forks and Folly household we’re gearing up for some epic summer parties. The kids will run loose in the yard, and the adults will be firing up the grill with a cold one. Stay as long as you like, because we’ve got plenty of food!
Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Truth be told, my summer parties are usually really simple to pull off, with the help of some awesome on-hand ingredients. No need to stress in the kitchen while your buds are relaxing on the patio. Besides loading up some favorite condiments onto a tray and filling up the cooler, all that needs to be done is cook up the burgers for this awesome MacDaddy Veggie Burger Bar.
The Basics
Have you tried the new MorningStar Farms® Veggie Lovers Burger? This product is hitting stores nation wide at the end of June, but lucky for me my Walmart was one of the first! It’s a quarter pound of veggieness that FILLS the bun, for smiles all around. Perfectly seasoned, these burgers pack 12 different veggies, 2 seeds & 2 grains, plus 10 grams of Plant Based Protein. Now, I’m no stranger to a meat-based burger, but I do love a veggie burger. And these rank up there as one of my favorites.
The Toppings
So now that you know the star of the show, let me introduce you to the supporting cast of our MacDaddy Veggie Burger Bar. All of the ingredients can be found at your local Walmart!
I always like to have a wide range of condiments whenever I’m hosting a laid back supper party. For our MacDaddy Burger Bar, we’re offering Hunt’s® Natural Ketchup, a few varieties of Cholula Hot Sauce, Great Value™ Cheese, Gulden’s® Spicy Brown Mustard, and Arnold® Country Potato Sandwich Buns to seal the deal.
Not to mention my fave Balsamic Grilled Onions. Prep these early in the day and refrigerate until ready to use. They take a little bit of time to slow cook on the stovetop, but they are so worth the flavor they bring to these burgers!
Refreshment
We’re big fans of Deer Park® Brand Sparkling Natural Spring Water, and it’s always nice to have a refreshing drink on hot days. Pringles® make for an easy snack to serve with the burgers.
Clean-up
Put out a package of Kleenex® Wipes for messy hands, and your couch will thank you later. And don’t forget to keep Ziploc® storage bags on hand for leftovers. I like to send guests home with extras!
